Joy Walser

My name is Joy Walser. I live in Welcome with my husband and two sons. Teaching has been my life long work. Playing a role in teaching children to read and learning the foundations of math has been rewarding.

After retiring from 30 years of teaching in Davidson County Schools, I continued to work with children as a preschool teacher, I enjoyed providing an early foundation in learning before those young learners began elementary school.

I am excited to be returning in 2024 as the director. Being a teacher at the preschool for a year and a half has better prepared me for this leadership position. I look forward to the new adventures of the upcoming school year!
